Hello there! I hope you’re all having a glorious Sunday! It’s the week before Easter and a long Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK, so I’m super exited about that already. We had such sunny weather today in London that the temperatures were close to 25 degrees! One of the most beautiful spring days so far, marking that the summer is not too far away! Speaking of spring and summer, I’ve noticed that during this time of year, I’m so much more into cheek and lip products than the rest of the year. As such, it’s always good to discover some great new lipstick launches! Let me show you the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick today; there are so many different shades I’m eyeing!
The Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick comes in three finishes to cater for all different tastes and needs:
- Shimmer Pearls: There are five beautiful shades, mostly pinks, reds and berries, which have micro shimmer for extra dimension on your lips. The shimmer is noticeable but not to chunky.
- Edgy cremes: Nine shades, from intense purple to a nice beigy-nude, that have a creamy texture. They’re your classic creamy lipstick.
- Ultra Mattes: Matte lips are very fashionable these days, therefore Estee Lauder gives us more option here. There are thirteen matte shades to choose from. As usual with my dry lips, matte shades aren’t the most straightforward for me.
- Cooled Chromes: For the daring ones, who love a dark, shimmery lipstick, there are three days to choose from.
The Display of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick
Let’s have a look at the swatches now:
Swatches of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick: mostly, Shimmer Pearls and Edgy Cremes
From left to right, as you face the screen, we have the Shimmer Pearls in No 360 (Flash Chill, a bright shimmery orange), 460 (Ripped Raisin, a brownish rose) and 270 (Haute & Cold, a rosy pink). Next in the line we have two Edgy Cremes, No 130 (Strapless, a mauve) and 140 (Naked City, a beige). The last shade is a matte, No 300 (Hot Streak, a brick red).
More swatches of some of the Ultra Matte Shades of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick
Once again from left to right, we have the following Ultra Matte shades: No 220 (Shock & Awe, a vibrant fuchsia pink) and 120 (Rose Excess, a dark red cherry). The middle baby pink shade is an Edgy Creme, No 430 (Crazy Beautiful). Then we have another two matte shades: No 310 (Bar Red, a classic red) and 100 (Blase Buff, a peach beige).
The three Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick Cooled Chromes
These Cooled Chromes are fun, aren’t they? Again, from left to right, we have No 470 (Moon Rock, a dark blue purple!), 370 (Pocket Venus, a brown red), 480 (Nova Noir, a purple).
All Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks retail for 19GBP, which is not that bad for a luxury lipstick at all! You can get them at your local Estee Lauder counter in all department stores and online here
. You get 3.5gr and with 30 shades to choose from, you can mix and match and play around. The darker shades can be layered on top of lighter shades to make them darker or create an ombre effect (duo-coloured lips). The quality is very good and I found that the Edgy Cremes (which I’ve tried tried on) were relatively long lasting, so thumbs up for that.
Are you eyeing any of these lipsticks? Do you find that you use more lipstick in the spring/summer months as opposed to the colder part of the year like I do?
Hope you have a great start of the week tomorrow and speak to you soon! I have some excited reviews coming up next week, so stay tuned!
